Our friends at Vertigo Technologies have written a great Technical Feature on high-resolution power control and active load pull at mmW and sub-THz frequencies, featured in the February 2020 edition of the Microwave Journal.

Article “Frequency Scalable Power Control and Active Tuning for Sub-THz Large Signal Measurements” introduces the challenges of characterizing electronic devices and MMICs at sub-THz frequencies, and the solutions to overcome these challenges by expanding the capabilities of conventional VNAs to achieve refined power control, power sweeps and active load pull.

The original Microwave Journal article can be seen here.

More information on MMW-STUDIO and sub-THz active load pull can be found here.
