Maury Microwave is pleased to announce the release of its Nano5G automated impedance tuner, optimized for maximum performance in 5G FR2 frequency bands.
The Nano5G has been designed to overcome the two main challenges related to on-wafer load pull measurements at 5G FR2 frequencies: reduced VSWR and phase skew at the probe-tip reference plane. The Nano5G has been miniaturized to less than 2.5” (less than 3.5” with integrated coupler) allowing it to be seamlessly connected to a wafer probe compatible with most commercial probe stations. The direct impact on load pull measurements at 28 GHz are clear: typical VSWR at the probe tip reference plane is increased from Γ = < 0.7 to Γ ≥ 0.87; typical phase skew is reduced from >200 degrees to < 30 degrees when considering a 100 MHz signal and two adjacent side channels.
