Maury Microwave is pleased to announce the extension of the NanoTM Series (NT-series) automated impedance tuners with the addition of the following models:

  • NT-110G-170G-1C – NANO 1C TUNER, 110-170 GHz
  • NT-140G-220G-1C – NANO 1C TUNER, 140-220 GHz
  • NT-170G-260G-1C – NANO 1C TUNER, 170-260 GHz
  • NT-220G-330G-1C – NANO 1C TUNER, 220-330 GHz

The new models enhance our capability to address sub-THz passive load pull, hybrid-active load pull, and noise parameter solutions within the 110-330 GHz range. The new NT tuners ability to generate wide-ranging load and source impedance conditions across the Smith Chart with ease, coupled with our patented closed-loop feedback motor control that ensures exceptional measurement accuracy and repeatability.

Nano-series automated impedance tuners have been optimized for on-wafer integration. The direct connection offers two advantages: maximizing VSWR at the DUT reference plane and minimizing phase skew at the DUT reference plane.

Additional features and benefits of the NT-series include:

  • Compact, lightweight design optimized for seamless integration with on-wafer probe station
  • Direct connection to probe maximizes tuning range and reduces phase skew
  • Eliminates the need for external probe mounts, cables, and couplers
  • Minimizes transmission line lengths by bringing turning element closer to the DUT
  • Models are available with integrated low-loss, high-directivity coupler
