A New Approach to Radar Signal Analysis

ABSTRACT: Secondary Surveillance Radar and IFFEL are important tools for aviation security. While radar systems have undergone a long period of development, many testing challenges remain. Designing, characterizing, installing or maintaining a system may have different requirements for testing RF signals. As a result, different instruments are often used for each task, or the same equipment is used throughout the process requiring compromises in performance. The former leads to higher equipment costs, the latter leads to inefficiencies and lower productivity. This workshop will introduce a new approach to these test challenges, featuring the ability to sue the same test equipment all the time without compromising performance.
