Maury Microwave, Vertigo Technologies and Virginia Diodes have co-authored an application note on high power gain compression power sweep and active load pull measurements at D-band, featured in the March issue of the Microwave Journal.

Article “Millimeter Wave and Sub-THz Power Sweep and Active Load-Pull Measurements” introduces the concepts of active load pull, the challenges related to performing high-power gain compression power sweep measurements and high power active load pull measurements at sub-THz frequencies, and an optimized active load pull solution with new high-power D-band waveguide extender modules to overcome these challenges.
